Wonder Woman Funko POP, $9.51 on Amazon

I squealed when I saw this in my box! Subscribers received one Funko POP out of seven possible options, and as I saw pictures popping up around Instagram, I was crossing my fingers that I'd receive either Wonder Woman or Sailor Moon, and that wishing paid off! I've been holding off on getting this Funko POP before the upcoming movie, but she truly is one of my favorite superheroes ever.

Comic Attack Pen, Ooly, $1.95 based on similar items

This pen is huge! And with six colors! I'm kind of a pen snob and swear by my Muji pens, but this will be a cute accessory to slip into one the planners sitting on my shelf.

Comic Book Zipper Pull, $3.00 (based on similar items)

To be perfectly honest, I had no idea what this was, and I'm still not very sure what to do with it. I mean, I can easily throw it onto my backpack, but surely there must be a more creative way to use this cute little accessory!

Wonder Woman Candle, Dio Candle Company, $4.50

This scent is inspired by "Wonder Woman's tropical island home." Though I normally hate cherries because they smell really medicinal, this candle smells sweet and really yummy!

Kafe Zing Premium Organic Coffee Candy, $2.00 (based on a pack of 2)

I don't have a picture of these because my dad snagged them already!!

FOOD! I haven't received food from an OwlCrate box before- does anyone know if they typically include edible items? Anyway, I love these! I don't drink as much coffee as I used to (I prefer tea now), but these will be great for when I need a burst of energy. It's also something I know I can share with my dad, because he's a hardcore caffeine junkie.

AFAR Chapter Sampler

This is so great! I was just talking about how I need new graphic novels in my life, and it's pretty serendipitous that OwlCrate has introduced me to one!

Eliza and Her Monsters, Francesca Zappia, $12.59 on Amazon

This month's book doesn't come out until May 30th, so how cool is it that OwlCrate managed to get brand new, hardback copies for us!? Even cooler, subscribers received an exclusive OwlCrate cover! As usual, a letter from the author and a signed bookplate were also included. I think all of these little details make this book worth way more than its list value. This also isn't a book that I would typically pick up, but after reading the synopsis, I'm glad it made it to me serendipitously!

Eighteen-year-old Eliza Mirk is the anonymous creator of Monstrous Sea, a wildly popular webcomic, but when a new boy at school tempts her to live a life offline, everything she’s worked for begins to crumble.

Scott Westerfeld’s Afterworlds meets Nimona in this novel about art, fandom, and finding the courage to be yourself. Features illustrations by the author throughout. Perfect for readers of Rainbow Rowell’s Fangirl, this is the second novel by the acclaimed author of Made You Up.

In the real world, Eliza Mirk is shy, weird, smart, and friendless. Online, Eliza is LadyConstellation, the anonymous creator of a popular webcomic called Monstrous Sea. With millions of followers and fans throughout the world, Eliza’s persona is popular. Eliza can’t imagine enjoying the real world as much as she loves her digital community. Then Wallace Warland transfers to her school, and Eliza begins to wonder if a life offline might be worthwhile. But when Eliza’s secret is accidentally shared with the world, everything she’s built—her story, her relationship with Wallace, and even her sanity—begins to fall apart. With pages from Eliza’s webcomic, as well as screenshots from Eliza’s online forums, this uniquely formatted book will appeal to fans of Noelle Stevenson’s Nimona and Rainbow Rowell’s Fangirl.
