December FairyLoot: Oh So Regal

Guys! FairyLoot shipped their boxes early this month so that their subscribers would receive them by Christmas. It was such an amazing surprise to receive that lovely black box on my doorstep because I know it's always filled to the brim with beautiful bookish goods. The December box was extremely fun to unbox.

Exclusive Zip Pouch, Miss Phi  - est. $8

First up is a zip pouch featuring a quote from Shakespeare. It could be used for writing utensils, or as an everyday carry for on-the-go essentials. Very practical!

Exclusive Candle, A Court of Candles - $4

There were a few different princes that you could have received. It would be great if the prince matched the Funko Pop in your box as well! However, this Prince Charming candle is lovely and glittery and will match nicely with my Cinderella Funko Pop.

Exclusive Enamel Keychain, Fiction Tea Designs - est $6

This keychain is gorgeous! I've already added it to my keys. It is a bit heavy, however.

Full Size Pop, Funko! - $10.60

There were a few Funko Pops that you could have received, including Tiana, Rapunzel, Simba, Pocahontas, Jasmine, and Ariel. As you can see, I received The Little Mermaid, which I would normally be really happy about- except that I already have this exact Funko Pop! Bummer!

Exclusive Notebook, Stella's Bookish Art - $11.24

The art on this lined notebook is gorgeous! It's small enough to slip into my traveler's notebook or bullet journal for 2018.

Extras

As always, FairyLoot included extra paper goods. This time, it was a bookmark promoting Victoria Aveyards's new book, War Storm, out next year. We also received a chapter sampler of Rosemarked by Livia Blackburne.

Everless, Sara Holland - $12.32

I've been intrigued by Everless since I heard about its synopsis earlier this year! The U.K. cover is so unique. The book came with an author letter and signed bookplate (which matches the book perfectly).

Goodreads Summary

In the kingdom of Sempera, time is currency—extracted from blood, bound to iron, and consumed to add time to one’s own lifespan. The rich aristocracy, like the Gerlings, tax the poor to the hilt, extending their own lives by centuries.

No one resents the Gerlings more than Jules Ember. A decade ago, she and her father were servants at Everless, the Gerlings’ palatial estate, until a fateful accident forced them to flee in the dead of night. When Jules discovers that her father is dying, she knows that she must return to Everless to earn more time for him before she loses him forever.

But going back to Everless brings more danger—and temptation—than Jules could have ever imagined. Soon she’s caught in a tangle of violent secrets and finds her heart torn between two people she thought she’d never see again. Her decisions have the power to change her fate—and the fate of time itself.

Box Total Value: $52.16 USD

I pay around $52 USD per box, which includes shipping. This box just met that value. However, I was definitely disappointed that I received a Funko Pop that I already have- that drops the value of the box about $10 USD for me. I can certainly try to swap with someone else but knowing my laziness, I will probably just end up giving it away to a friend. The other items were small, but beautiful, and I was very pleased with them!
