FFF Naked Covers

When I take a hardcover book on the road with me, I always take the dust jacket off. So it's always a bonus when the book is just as beautiful underneath the dust jacket, as it was with it on! In no particular order, here are my favorite naked covers (that I own)!

Five Favorite Naked Covers

The Bone Season, Samantha Shannon

If I'm totally honest with myself... nope, I'm still not quite sure what this represents. The 12 orders of clairvoyance, maybe? But it's so cool and stylized! And I appreciate the bold, red color.

Fire Walker, Josephine Angelini

This is a pretty recent acquisition for me, but I really love the cover1 It's a simple black and silver naked cover, but with incredible patterns. The text is raised and feels so good!

Illuminae, Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

The naked cover of this book is basically part of the story itself. Enough said.

Heartless, Marissa Meyer

I love this cover and how perfectly it correlates with the story about the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland.

Geekerella, Ashley Poston

First of all, I love the powder blue color of this cover! It's so smooth, and not a color I see often on books. The symbol is also so simple, but very significant if you've read the book. I appreciate how they took the time to bring an element from the story to life!
