FFF: Book Spines

I am always on the lookout for beautiful book spines! I particularly love when a collection of books' spines create a larger image. They look absolutely gorgeous on my shelf. In no particular order, here are my favorite book spines (that I own)!

Five Favorite Book Spines

The Infernal Devices, Cassandra Clare

No, this isn't cheating! i'm going to group The Infernal Devices spines as one because they make up one beautiful image. I'm looking forward to adding The Mortal Instruments and The Dark Artifices with their matching spines to my collection as well!

The Tale of Shikanoko, Lian Hearn

Yup, I consider this one set of spines too! This is one of my all-time favorite spine sets, and for good reason! The rainbow colors, the gorgeous rendering of the famous woodblock print!

Strange the Dreamer, Laini Taylor

Yum, that beautiful, deep blue color with simple gold foiling.

Rebel of the Sands, Alwyn Hamilton

I love the patterns along this spine and how it's a continuation of the dust jacket. I'm so bummed that they phased out these covers! I don't own the new covers, so I can't speak to their spines, unfortunately.

The Reader, Traci Chee

There's a theme going on here, isn't there? I love the hues of green and blue, with the raised gold lettering.
